Hello! I’m Jo Loveridge, and I run Starboard Media Ltd – a freelance web design and development studio. This privacy policy explains how I collect, use and protect any personal data you share with me.

What data I collect
This website does not use contact forms or collect any personal information directly. However, I may collect personal data in the following ways:
- When you email me directly — If you get in touch, I’ll receive your name, email address, and anything else you include in your message.
- Project-related data — If you become a client, you may choose to share additional information such as hosting credentials, login details, or project documentation. This is securely stored and only accessed when necessary.
How I store and protect your data
Any login information or sensitive client data is stored securely using 1Password, a password manager with end-to-end encryption. Only I – and any trusted freelancers working on your project 0 have access to what’s necessary. Access is shared securely and revoked when no longer needed.
Who I share data with
I don’t sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
However, I do work with a small group of trusted freelance collaborators. If your project involves others, I may share access to project information or login credentials with them — securely and only when necessary.
Clients may also be invited to join ClickUp, Slack or other project management system for easy project management. Your name and email may be visible to other collaborators on shared projects.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to track anonymous usage data — such as which pages are visited, how long users stay, and what kind of device they’re using. This helps me understand how the site is performing and improve the experience.
You can choose to block cookies through your browser settings if you’d prefer not to be tracked.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data I hold about you
- Ask me to correct or delete your data
- Withdraw your consent at any time
