Nine+Nico were getting ready to launch AskMargo.ai: an AI-powered marketing tool that helps teams plan go-to-market strategies, campaigns, and reports with confidence.
Alongside designing and building the Margo AI product itself, Starboard was asked to create the marketing website. The goal was simple: explain what Margo does, build trust quickly, and support the launch without overcomplicating things.
The site needed to:
- Make a complex AI product easy to understand
- Stay true to the Nine+Nico master brand while feeling modern and SaaS-led
- Speak to experienced marketers without excluding less technical users
- Drive early interest in the beta and support conversions ahead of launch

The Challenge
AI products sit on a fine line – it’s easy to say too much, or say the wrong thing. The biggest challenge was clarity: showing the value of AskMargo.ai quickly, without jargon or hype.
Because Starboard also handled the UX and front-end build of the Margo AI tool, we had a deep understanding of how the product works behind the scenes. That made it much easier to strip things back and present Margo in a way that feels grounded, honest, and approachable.
The approach
Working across both the product and the marketing site meant everything stayed aligned.
Nine+Nico led on copy and launch planning, and we designed and built a custom, modular WordPress theme around that — flexible enough to grow with the product, but structured enough to keep things clear.
UX & content structure

Design
- A SaaS-led visual style informed by the product UI

The AskMargo.ai marketing site now:

- Acts as a strong brand and conversion asset from day one
The site has only just launched, but it’s already set up to scale alongside the product — and to do its job without getting in the way.
